BOTANIZE는 최근의 환경 문제를 직시하며, 윤리적 소비를 장려하는 브랜드가 되고자 합니다.
그 일환으로 원예 업계에서 다용되는 플라스틱 화분 소재를 EPA(PLA) 및 폴리프로필렌으로 채택하여, 새로운 BOTANIZE 오리지널 PLAPOT을 개발하였습니다.
EPA(PLA)란 Poly-Lactic-Acid의 약자로, 폴리락트산을 말합니다. 옥수수나 감자 등에 포함된 전분 유래의 플라스틱 성분입니다.
SDGs의 흐름에 부합하는 원료로, 생성 과정에서 이산화탄소를 거의 배출하지 않으며(탄소 중립), 가연성 쓰레기로 폐기해도 유해 가스를 발생시키지 않습니다. 또한, 토양에 묻으면 일정 기간이 지난 후 일정 비율로 분해되는 것도 큰 특징입니다.
석유 유래 플라스틱을 대신하여, 지구 환경에 친화적이며 향후 큰 기대를 모으고 있는 소재를 채택하였습니다.
이처럼 지구와 환경에 친절한 브랜드가 되기 위해 앞으로도 다양한 시도와 제품 개발에 매진하겠습니다.

BOTANIZE wants to be a brand that encourages ethical consumption in response to recent environmental issues.
As part of this effort, we have developed a new BOTANIZE original PLAPOT using EPA (PLA) and polypropylene as the material for plastic pots, which are widely used in the gardening industry.
EPA (PLA) is an abbreviation for Poly-Lactic-Acid, or polylactic acid. It is a starch-derived plastic component found in corn and potatoes.
It is a raw material that is in line with the SDGs. It is carbon neutral, meaning that it emits almost no carbon dioxide in the production process, and it does not produce toxic gases when disposed of as combustible waste.
Instead of petroleum-derived plastic, we have adopted an environmentally friendly material that is expected to be very popular in the future.
We will continue to work hard on various initiatives and product development in order to be a brand that is friendly to the earth and the environment.
The bottom hole is not pierced, so you can use it as a small container.
